Isolators and Circulators

 

Corry Micronics offers a full range of isolators and circulators. A circulator is a ferrite device and usually has three ports. The signal path either circulates in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Circulators are used to duplex two signals. Often circulators are used to combine the transmit and receive signal which are connected to an antenna. 

Isolators are essentially the same design as a circulator except that one of the ports is terminated resulting in only one output. Isolators are installed so that they “Isolate” the output. This isolation prevents damaging standing waves from getting back to the transmitter’s output stage which would result in a transmitter circuit’s failure.

       Forward power of 10, 50 or 100 watts

        Drop-in Isolators
       300Mhz to 18Ghz
       Forward power of 10, 50 or 100 watts

        Lumped Element Isolators
       50Mhz to 16Ghz
       Forward power of 10 to 1,200 watts

        Waveguide Isolators and Circulators
       Average power ratings to 2,000 watts
       2.6Ghz to 16Ghz

        Connectorized Circulators
       300Mhz to 18Ghz
       N or SMA connector
       Forward power of 10, 50 or 100 watts

        Drop-in Circulators
        300Mhz to 18Ghz
       Forward power of 10, 50 or 100 watts

        Lumped Element Circulators
       50Mhz to 16Ghz
       Forward power of 10 to 1,200 watts
