Types of filters offered by Corry Micronics:

|
The C style feedthru is the most cost-effective, low pass filter for high frequency. This style offers a single capacitive element and is well suited for high impedance source and loads. These types of filters are also recommended for high-speed switching or digital circuits because they do not contain any inductive elements.

The Pi filter is a three element design utilizing two capacitors and one inductor (ferrite bead). The advantage of this design is a sharper attenuation curve providing up to 60 dB per decade of isolation. This type of filter is well suited in circuits with unknown or varying source and load impedance.

The L filter is a two element design utilizing one capacitor and one inductor (ferrite bead). These filters are best suited in circuits where the source and load impedance are unbalanced. The capacitor should face the higher impedance source or load to be most effective.
